The Ministry of Defense, through the public company Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España S.A. (ISDEFE) will hire G.O.C. to perform technical assistance services in mechanical installations for the construction management of the new Melilla hospital.
It is a building with a total constructed area of approximately 63,000 m² in which the following facilities must be executed: sanitation, plumbing, smoke extraction, air conditioning and ventilation, pneumatic transport, medicinal gases, protection against fires (detection and extinction), passive protection of the building, people transportation and centralized technical management.
Among the main tasks to be performed by G.O.C., the following are included: writing technical reports; analysis of technical specifications of materials and equipment to be installed on site; calculation and design of facilities; support for the definition of medical equipment and redefinition of the facilities necessary for said equipment; legalizations and support to the construction management during the commissioning phase.
The total execution period is 36 months, with an execution budget for mechanical installations of approximately € 25,000,000.
