After opening the proposals in the frame of the project “Decentralized actions in several airports. Phase III”, AENA has awarded Lot 3 to G.O.C., which participated in a joint venture with the companies PROYECO and CONURMA. The services to be provided comprehends the technical assistance for both design and construction supervision at the Madrid-Barajas airport, with a budget of almost three million euros and a 30-month term.
The works will include the engineering services necessary for the preparation of needs reports, design and specifications, technical studies, offers report, projects review and construction supervision. In the case of Technical Assistance for the design, the preparation of both the necessary preliminary documents (geotechnical, topographic or technical reports) and the construction project are included.
The Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport is the first airport in the country in passenger traffic, with about 62 million travelers in 2019. In addition, it is the main airport in Spain in operations and air cargo.
