Gregorio Marañón Hospital begun construction of new surgical centre

Within the modernization project of the Hospital Gregorio Marañón, the works to build a surgical centre have recently begun. The building will be located in the current Ambulatory Assistance Pavilion (PASA) and will be integrated into the hospital complex and connected with the rest of the facilities.

The new Surgical Block will be formed by 30 operating rooms, including their corresponding support and post-surgical areas, with 7 levels and a total constructed area of ​​approximately 16,000 square meters. The execution period will be 22 months and the investment will reach 20.6 million euros.

G.O.C. will participate in the construction phase carrying out the technical assistance services for the execution of the structure and building systems sections. As long as the company was also responsible for the drafting of the basic and executive design regarding these sections, G.O.C. engineers have a deep knowldge of the characteristics of the work to be done.
