THE REFORM OF THE ARANJUEZ PRISON WILL BE SUPERVISED BY G.O.C.

G.O.C. has been awarded the contract for the Technical Assistance and Health and Safety Coordination during the reform of cold water installations for human consumption, sanitary hot water, fire detection and installation of photovoltaic solar panels in the Madrid Penitentiary Center VI (Aranjuez).

It is one of the largest prisons in Spain, with an area of ​​86,081 square meters, built in 1998 on a plot of 395,700 square meters. It has a total of 936 cells, as well as a nursery service, laundry, workshops, assembly hall, swimming pool, sports centre, 14 classrooms, 46 call centres and 60 guest rooms.

The works will include, in addition to the work supervision, the review of the preliminary designs, the correction of errors in the existing documentation and preparation of the final documentation.

The contract execution period is 19 months. The renovation work will be carried out at the same time that the centre remains in service.
